Rainy Business

There were only clouds, very dark clouds, and a heavy dust storm. Will it rain or not? Not sure, and we move out to the open area, to appreciate some cold weather even if it is dusty.

All the clouds are moving away. Oh... will it not rain today after so much of anticipation?
A set of clouds disappeared fast. They moved west wards. And gathered at a place. There were smaller clouds moving in that direction. My daughter's possible desctiption of them came to my mind, "baby clouds running..."

Then some one commented "Looks like there is a procession, and they are all gathering at a place" This guy is a street activist? :)
Some one else commented. "Smaller companies are being acquired, and the 'West cloud' company is growing".

Then slowly the cloud started getting smaller and getting disintegrated. "Hey, they are spinning off the bigger company into smaller ones".

Ok, there is another cloud east of us, but nothing is happening. No rain. "Is it that with the companies being acuired and sold off, the share holders are not getting any profit, and all the actual profit is being eaten away by the promoters?"

Then it started drizzling. Lot of sound, but less rain.
"Is it lot of 'Pre-IPO buzz'? Too much noise and no substance"

Then it really poured heavily. People who waited to watch the first rain of season are satisfied with the sight

"After all, patience in the market pays off"

Some real discussions today at the terrace of the office, and it really poured for a while. Old habits die hard. Even while appreciating nature...

May be yes.

Partially because I wasnt out to take pictures, and partly it is an evolutionary process.
Meanwhile, enjoy this sunrise from the Kalavara Betta trek.

Customer Delight ?

Keep the customer happy!
But what happens when the customer is terribly unhappy. He doesnt hear back, or his problem is not rectified even when it is "escalated"? He threatens to go to court on that.

I had to do that finally, and I was heard only when I served a "notice" that if my problem is not addressed, I am going to court, and ask for higher compensation.

To keep the story short and simple, I purchased air tickets online, and found that the reciept was for lesser amount than what was charged. Unfortunately, the amount charged on the credit card will be known only after 2 days, by the time, my travel is over.
I tried to explain, argue, shout and fight with them for more than 2 hours in the middle of night, which yielded no response. Even my demand that I speak to their manager was not satisfied.

My next option of approaching consumer courts yielded this site who offers help to people like me, who would like to fight for their rights.
And simple, I explained my case to them, and they sent a "notice" on my behalf, and guess what, I got the excess money charged for me within a week.

I just got an EMail for the "Manager - Customer Delight" of Makemytrip.com that my excess charges are reverted to my credit card.
