I never could imagine a lower level than this for "National news"
24x7 News channels have de-graded the quality of news to such low levels.

I have stopped watching news channel in detail long ago. I just take a peek at scrolling headlines, though they are crappy most of the time, and change the channel.

Watching a `news channel feature' is a big torture these days. As bad as Ekta kapoor's serials.
