naive of me, but how did you get the blur? is it just the focus on the dew drop.. or is it also the camera, coz I tried the same with my Canon digicam, but no results on the selective blurring effect..

Just that the DOF was less as with most macro attempts, which are made handheld.
With a normal camera, it might be very difficult to focus so close, either you can use a macro lens(if you use SLR) or macro filters, which I used here. macro filters are nothing but a fancy representation of "magnifying lens"
